How to Use the CIS Instructor Handbook

This CIS Instructor Handbook draws on College in the School (CIS) policies and the most pertinent University of Minnesota (U of M) policies, expanding on the latter by clarifying their applicability to CIS and explaining CIS processes and procedures around them.

These policies and procedures bring the management of the U of M courses taught through into alignment with those of the larger University and with the standards of our national accrediting body, the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

We appreciate that most CIS instructors take the administrative requests from the CIS office seriously and pay attention to our emails and timelines.

Other CIS Handbooks & Reference Guides:

A reference guide outlining U of M, CIS, and departmental policies that govern the U of M courses in the high school.

A handbook for high school staff, which explains the information, policies, and processes relevant to this audience.
