PRepss partner organizations
PREPSS provides training, scientific peer review and professional copy-editing services to authors affiliated with our partner organizations. Our partners include research training organizations, grant-funded research studies, and selected academic journals. These organizations work with the PREPSS team in one of our manuscript development programs. PREPSS partnering programs
Authors who are part of large, grant-funded research projects or research training programs participate. Services include a webinar, three-day onsite training, and follow-up support for one or more manuscripts including scientific peer review, and professional copy editing.
Educators and leaders from universities, governments, and other organizations are trained on how to instruct students and researchers on scientific writing and publishing. The program begins with a meeting so that PREPSS trainers can learn about the teaching context and needs. Tailored, dedicated training sessions for faculty, instructors and leaders are provided, followed by a co-teaching experience to solidify concepts. Customizable teaching slides, assignments and in-class activities are provided.
Editors of participating journals identify submissions from low and middle-income countries that are promising but were rejected because they did not meet the journal's standards. Following the referral, PREPSS works with the author to improve the manuscript through scientific peer review and professional copy editing before the author resubmits the revised manuscript to the journal.
