What if I'm not a student but wish to complete the training?

If you are a postdoc, resident, MD, or just want to brush up on your review skills, you are welcome to participate in the peer reviewer training, please visit our Peer Reviewer Training page for more information.

Expectations

  • Provide follow-up writing support to faculty and researchers in low-income countries who have undergone initial training on scientific writing and publishing
  • Agree to protect confidentiality of the material that you review
  • Provide up to three rounds of feedback on author manuscript

Benefits

  • FACULTY: Peer review is a recognizable faculty activity that will “count” toward your service
  • STUDENTS: Advanced doctoral students will receive valuable and authentic training, experience and mentorship reviewing manuscripts. Peer review also supports the development of better writing skills.
