Recent Workshops
We are excited to present our workshop series on using Artificial Intelligence for academic tasks. These workshops will cover various AI tools, not just GPT, that can help:
Identify relevant articles and authors, including identifying mutual citation networks between authors (Research Rabbit, Perplexity), see March 23 2025 workshop
Automate citation management (Zotero)
Summarizing pertinent material (Perplexity)
Generating Images with words using Artificial Intelligence (Ideogram)
Generating Images with in-depth (descriptions) (Adobe Firefly)
Additionally, we will discuss the limitations and ethical concerns associated with these tools, including potential dangers such as research theft.
Tools covered include Zotero, Research Rabbit, Elicit, and others. Recordings of each workshop will be posted on a separate tab.
Get ahead in your academic career by being familiarized with a variety of different programming languages. Ranging from MATLAB to perform calculations, Python and Julia for programming, and Overleaf for publishing your results.
