Mentorship

Mentorship Program Overview

MEGC facilitates a mentorship program to connect graduate students with their peers who are further along in their graduate program, or alumni in the workforce. We know the options available to graduate students at Michigan may be daunting, whether it is the number of coursework options, academic concentrations, research opportunities, or student groups. As students go through their graduate program, their needs evolve and change between selecting coursework, looking for internship and research opportunities and planning for careers after graduation and we believe those who have experienced the process are well placed to offer advice and guidance. MEGC matches mentors and mentees based on academic and research interests, professional goals and/or career plans, and hope to facilitate open communication between mentors and mentees on a variety of issues.
