Micah is a Ph.D. student in Aerospace Engineering, advised by Prof. Max Li, at the University of Michigan and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research fellow. In 2024, Micah graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a S.B in Aerospace Engineering with a Minor in Political Science. Micah’s research interests broadly focus on multi-modal network optimization, sustainable aviation, and space traffic management. Micah aims to leverage these research interests to improve science communication and data interoperability as it pertains to innovation at the system level in the context of the end user(s). Outside of research, Micah is a Space Operations Officer in the U.S. Space Force and enjoys shooting film, racing, hiking, traveling, as well as skiing.
