Staff Bioinformatician
dfhannum
I started the role as staff Bioinformatician for the Ophthalmology and Visual Science Department at the Kellogg Eye Center in August 2024. My new role sees me consulting with labs on bioinformatics analyses and building specific computational tools for the eye.
I recently graduated with my PhD in Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan. My previous research focused on the application of transcriptomic technologies (bulk, single-cell, and spatial) to gain insight into human reproductive systems.
Feel free to stop by my office or send me an email if you want to chat about my new role.
