Created by Harnek and Jeevin Singh, the White Coat District is a promotional video created to showcase the series created by the brothers. Inspired by medical school, the brothers created multiple season arcs that they hope to display for production companies. Within this project, I worked as producer and managed location scouting, casting, shooting dates, equipment rental, and script overview. This opportunity was collaborative with executive producers Jeevin and Harnek, but was a formative experience in my knowledge regarding full scale creative production.

With funding and in parternship with the Vault Productions NYC, Michigan Sport Business Inclusion Community (SBIC) was in need of a promotional video. Director of Photography Austin Mital Skiff roped me on to the project as producer in creating their two minute video to showcase the values of the organization. Over the course of two shoot days, many Zoom meeting with Jon Paley and SBIC's Executive Board, and countless emails rallying the club members to set, Austin and I were able to create a cohesive video demonstrating SBIC and the diversity community it holds. This was my first experience as full scale producer, and was a daunting challenge working with the professionals at The Vault and satisfying the SBIC's needs as a client.

In October 2022, I got a call from a fellow theatre arts major asking me to come on as Assistant Production Manager for the film. I had never worked on a film before. I quickly learned how to make call sheets of the where, when, how, why, and what for every crew member and actor. During production, I took notes during shooting to make the editing process easier and ran around helping Executive Producer Andrew Otchere. Before weekends of shooting, I made cuts of the script so everyone didn’t have to go digging for them and prepared call sheets. By the end of the project, I had grown so much, learned that I have a passion for film production, and was promoted to Production Manager because of all the time and effort I had put into the project. This film is being released as short clips on YouTube right now and has gone to a few film festivals. Check the trailer out below.
