Working schedule that has been stipulated by the University Management is as in the following:
Flexi - 24 hours:
Attendance needs to be recorded at any time of a working day for the same day (24 hours)
Flexi Working Hours (WBF):
Shift Working Hours:
Work shift arrangements for eight (8) hours in accordance to the period and timeline as decided by the PTj.

Integrity Unit Universiti Malaya was established to manage issues in relation to integrity in all government departments as stated in Service Circular No. 6 of 2013 (SC6/2013) ‘Establishment of Integrity Unit at all Public Agencies’ with effect from 1 August 2013. The Unit’s core functions as provided under Service Circular No. 6 of 2013 are to:
Ensure the University observes and practise principles of good governance at all times;
Inculcate and develop a culture of integrity among the University’s academicians, officers, staff and students;
Investigate and verify complaints concerning unlawful act, misconduct and unethical behaviour by the University’s academicians, officers, staff and students; and to report the unlawful activity to the proper law enforcement agency;
Receive and take action on complaints or information concerning unlawful act, misconduct and unethical behaviour by the University’s academicians, officers, staff and students;
Ensure the University’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and
Act as secretariat for the University Staff Disciplinary Committee.
