With the aims to increase the university’s value creation & income generation, UM under the portfolio of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Value Creation and Enterprise) continuously plan, enact, manage and implement policies, policy strategies, and activities related to entrepreneurial development and commercialisation through knowledge transfer and research translation.

In association with the relevant Deputy Dean, promotes RC's engagement and networking with industry, agencies, and ministries, as well as actively encourages students and faculty to engage with industry and provides various opportunities for industrial partners to gain access to the wealth of intellectual potential of the faculty and students.
Industrial Relations Division is a one-stop centre for industries to connect and explore engagement opportunities, establish, and strengthen collaborations with the University.

In association with the relevant Deputy Dean, encourages dan identifies innovations, services, and technology from research activities that have potential for commercialisation among researchers, academicians and students at the RC.
In association with the relevant Deputy Dean, identifies and promotes innovations via professional consultancy and research service through Consultancy Centre.
Innovation and Commercialisation Centre supervises, plans and monitors employability programmes and student career activities as well as builds collaborative relationships with RC and Industry.
Consultancy Centre coordinates inter-disciplinary consultancy works carried out by University’s competent academic and professional supporting staff.
