About us

We at IAESTE Nicaragua, are a young dynamic team based at the technical University ULSA in Leon Nicaragua.

Leon is a small colonial city to the north of Nicaragua's Capital, Managua. It is sometimes know as new Leon, as the old city was destroyed during a volcanic incident 150 years ago and its inhabitants moved to its current location. A location which thankfully, is closer to the beach.

Leon is the home of many different private and state-owned Universities, amongst which is our University. The La Salle University focuses on several engineering careers. Its main focus is a practical-knowledge based educative system, as well as the LaSallian moral codex. The university is situated at the exit of Leon's highway to Las Peñitas.

Inside the University, we work from the office of international affairs, where we are happy to attend you and answer any question you may have.
