This lab is designed to make sure that you are able to work with your Circuit Playground Express and have it set up properly
To begin this lab:
Follow the instructions in this technical support article to begin using the CPX board. If you have any issues please speak up and ask the TAs for help!
You can test if everything is working on this page! Click the "Connect to board" button
To complete the lab, you will complete the following:
Complete Level 1, which simply tests that your CPX device is connected and functioning
Complete Level 2 and get the LED to turn on. Take a selfie of your board with the red LED on! This will be submitted to Gradescope!
Complete Lesson 3 though Level 8
* While levels 9 and 10 are not required, they will help get a better understanding of using the CPX board, completing them is highly encouraged!
Find a partner, or if needed a group of 3 may be formed. You should each do your own work, but check in with each other as you work on the activity, ask questions, or share interesting things you find along the way. Offer feedback to each other.
The TAs will be available for any assistance needed, so please feel free to ask them any questions as well.
Once you are done, take a selfie of yourself with your Circuit Playground Express, where the single LED is turned on. Turn this in on Gradescope, under "Lab 7: CPX Setup."
This lab must be completed by 11:59pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. No late submissions will be accepted.
