Late deadline is Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:59pm Central Time on Gradescope. See the syllabus for the policy on late assignments.
Consider one of your hobbies or strong interests that is shared by others, preferably a group or organization, such as a bridge club, sports team, church group, scouts, or the Underwater Archaeological Society of Chicago.
Pick a special interest group associated with that hobby or interest.
Develop an app for that group / special interest in App Lab. Think of the group as your “client”, and incorporate the special interests of the group into the app. See the rubric below for the requirements of the app.
Please bear in mind the viewpoints and norms of the audience of your app! Make your stories appropriate in terms of your selection of language and visuals. Your instructions must be on the screen.
[Optional] If you would like to include animation in your app, see the animation apps we worked on in class and the one you worked on in Lab 10.
Use the Share feature within App Lab to obtain a link to your app. Be sure to post this assignment on your online portfolio, including a brief description, at least screenshot/picture of the app, as well as the link to the app.
Then turn in your work to Gradescope, which will ask for the link to your app. The submission is called "Assignment 6: Special Interest App."
