Design one of the following using GIMP (or Photoshop or some other application) to create a composite image.
Ad for a fake product
Public service announcement
Fake family photo
Ad: Your ad should include an image of the product you are trying to sell. This image should be a composite image, made by putting together different pieces of at least two images. There should also be some text to go along with the image, such as a slogan, catchphrase, or some marketing verbiage. Think of what catches your eye when you see billboards, signs at bus stops, posters in stores, or TV ads.
Public Service Announcement: A public service announcement (PSA) is a brief message designed for the community to raise awareness about an issue and/or change behavior among the general public. If you choose to create a PSA, there should be a composite image included, along with some text that gives insight as to what the goal of the PSA is. Examples of PSAs that you may have seen include ones to encourage people to get the COVID vaccine, to prevent cyberbullying, to discourage people from texting and driving, etc.
Fake Family Photo: This would involve creating a composite image that includes you as part of a family that is not your own. This family can be created using real people or fictional characters, and can be made up of people from various families in real life. So you do not need to incorporate yourself into a family in real life, but can make up your own family (e.g. maybe you want to be adopted by Spongebob and Bill Gates). There should be some text accompanying the photo, and this is up to you. A couple ideas could be to write a greeting, such as for a card that is sent to extended family and friends, or a news article about your family.
Below are some examples that may provide inspiration.
Be as creative as you would like with this! Please keep it in good taste and appropriate for an academic assignment.
