Course Description : This course will provide physical activities for the purpose of optimizing health and fitness. Students will choose from a menu of course offerings in Dance, Sport, Group Exercises, Recreational, Outdoor and Adventure activities.
CO 1- Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.
CO 2- Participate in moderate to vigorous physical activities in accordance with national and global recommendations for optimal health for the self and others.
CO 3- Applies knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics related to movement and performance.
CO 4- Recognizes the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression, and/or social interaction.
