The E.D.H.S. Guidance Department helps support educational, social, and career success.  

The Guidance Counsellor, Ms. Paterson, provides help with selecting a student's high school courses and planning for the future. Whether it involves going right to work, or further education at College, University, or in Apprenticeship Programs - Ms. Paterson will help direct you on the right path. 

Short-term counselling is provided to assist students with social emotional concerns while developing their personal well-being. The Counsellor will recommend appropriate School Board staff, (such as the Social Worker and Board Psychologist) and also community agencies to provide counselling and support beyond the school.
