O projeto OCA é composto por atividades práticas de criação artística, no modelo de oficinas ou eventos, incluindo áreas diversas, como por exemplo: a música, a dança, o teatro, o cinema, a literatura, o jornalismo, a arquitetura, a moda, os idiomas estrangeiros e as artes plásticas. As atividades práticas são acompanhadas de diário de bordo, ou seja, um relatório informal, por escrito, desenvolvido por cada um dos ministrantes e/ou idealizadores do evento ou da oficina. Os eventos e oficinas são construídos a partir de leitura de bibliografia especializada, incluindo artigos científicos e livros da área das artes em geral e das pesquisas em artes em particular. O propósito dessas atividades é gerar debates sobre a ARTE em geral, sobre PERFORMANCE em particular, e sobre o PAPEL SOCIAL das artes e do artista. As performances e oficinas são apresentadas gratuitamente, em espaços artísticos, na cidade de Teresina, no interior do Estado do Piauí. Parte dos relatórios e embasamentos teóricos das oficinas e dos eventos são transformados em artigos ou relatos de experiência, e são apresentados em eventos científicos dentro e fora do Brasil.

The OCA project is composed of practical artistic creation activities, in the form of workshops or events, including different areas, such as: music, dance, theater, cinema, literature, journalism, architecture, fashion, foreign languages, and the visual arts. The practical activities are accompanied by a logbook, that is, an informal report, in writing, developed by each of the facilitators and/or creators of the event or workshop. Events and workshops are constructed from reading specialized bibliographies, including scientific articles and books in the area of the arts in general and research in the arts in particular. The purpose of these activities is to generate debates about ART in general, about PERFORMANCE in particular, and about the SOCIAL ROLE of the arts and the artist. The performances and workshops are presented free of charge, in artistic spaces, in the city of Teresina, and in the interior of the State of Piauí. Part of the reports and theoretical bases of the workshops and events are transformed into articles or experience reports and are presented at scientific events inside and outside Brazil.
