Por que ampliar a capacidade criativa?

A criatividade é o que tem permitido, aos seres humanos, gerar grande parte do que vemos hoje, seja na área das artes, em particular, seja na organização de nosso sistema social, educacional ou político. O desenvolvimento da criatividade mostra-se de grande valor, quando se pretende contribuir para a formação de seres capacitados a contribuir socialmente, seja reinventando aquilo que já está obsoleto, seja inventando novas saídas para antigas questões. Na medida em que o ser humano se sente útil e produtivo, ele também se torna capaz de administrar e ampliar as suas experiências de vida, como ser humano e como artista. Nas artes, mais do que em qualquer outra área, a criatividade se torna ponto chave, quando se quer encontrar uma identidade enquanto artista. O Projeto OCA, portanto, propõe um espaço para a exploração e o desenvolvimento da criatividade em geral, e nas artes em especial, a partir de experimentação, discussão, reflexão e compartilhamento, na busca por contribuir para a formação de pessoas capazes de explorar e ampliar as suas próprias possibilidades, e também capazes de refletir sobre a relevância de seu trabalho no âmbito social.

Why expand creative capacity?

Creativity is what has allowed human beings to generate much of what we see today, whether in the area of the arts, in particular, or in the organization of our social, educational or political system. The development of creativity proves to be of great value, when one intends to contribute to the formation of beings capable of contributing socially, either by reinventing what is already obsolete, or by inventing new solutions for old and new issues. As human beings feel useful and productive, they also become capable of managing and expanding their life experiences, as human beings and as artists. In the arts, more than in any other area, creativity becomes a key point when one wants to find an identity as an artist. The OCA Project, therefore, proposes a space for the exploration and development of creativity in general, and in the arts in particular, based on experimentation, discussion, reflection and sharing, in the quest to contribute to the formation of people capable of exploring and expand their own possibilities, and also able to reflect on the relevance of their work in the social sphere.
