Awards & Scholarships
In 4-H, recognition of our youth members is important. Through our Awards and Recognition programs, youth have the opportunity to share their knowledge gained through experiences in 4-H. They demonstrate their mastery of skills developed through 4-H Projects by applying for scholarships, award trips, and competing in county, district, state and national contests.

Step 2
Actively participate in their 4-H Club Meetings, Activities, Events, and Competitions year-round, while attending a minimum of 2/3rd's of all club meetings.
Step 3
Submit Completed 4-H Record Book(s) to the Lee County 4-H office by June 1st.
Please note, Youth must turn in at least one complete project/record book to be a Member in Good Standing.
Youth showing livestock will be required to turn in their Record books for each species shown at this time as well. This is a different turn in procedure from the past, and books will no longer be turned in at fair but at the end of the year. If a youth is showing one species, that completed record book will count as one book.
If a youth is showing a species at multiple fairs/shows, they only need to turn in one book per species. (i.e. showing goats at the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair and the South Florida Fair).
