Our UDSD String Orchestras were able to perform in-person recorded performances at UDHS PAC AUD under the direction of Mrs. Virginia Herrmann for the Spring of 2021. Unfortunately, we were not able to open these an in-person audience, however, with much thanks to Mr. Jason Trantas for editing, and to UDHS student videographers Maya St. Pierre and Jeremy Pollock, we are able to share the viewing of these wonderful musical events via these links

Each orchestra student will be receiving a flash drive with the professionally remastered audio recordings of the concerts, as well as a group photo and printable program, courtesy of the services of AMP Recording & Duplicating and fundraising efforts of the UDHS Orchestra & Sophisticated Strings. We are also grateful to UDSD resident Mrs. Nancy Beale for sharing her piano accompaniment artistry with our orchestra groups at these performances. It is an honor to share these precious musical moments of a year's worth of work in a virtual and hybrid environment, as well as only one hour of onstage rehearsal for each group--all should be very proud of this extraordinary accomplishment and adaptation to performance environments beyond our usual practices and circumstances. My sincere thanks goes out to the students and families for supporting our efforts with positivity!
