Join the Lab!

Interested in joining the SSIB lab?

Each semester, I look for for hard-working, conscientious, and curious undergraduate and graduate students to join the SSIB lab. Undergraduate students may volunteer as a research assistant but are encouraged to enroll in PSY 493 to earn course credit for their participation in lab.

Research assistant requirements:

• Completed or currently enrolled in PSY 101

Research assistant preferences:

• A commitment of at least 6 hours per week in the lab (lab schedule is created based on members' availability)

• A commitment of 2+ semesters

Students interested in joining the lab should:

• Email me to introduce yourself to express your interest in joining the lab

• Submit the SSIB lab application

Please note that joining the lab as a new research assistant can be competitive, as often more students wish to be involved than can be accommodated. It is recommended that interested students contact me about getting involved as early as possible (freshman, this means you, too)!
