Erin O'Mara Kunz

Lab Director

Erin O'Mara Kunz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Dayton, where she has been a member of the faculty since August 2011. Dr. Kunz is currently a fellow with the Hanley Sustainability Institute, and the director of the SSIB Lab. Dr. Kunz is also an Associate Editor for the peer-reviewed journal, Self and Identity.

A first-generation college student, Dr. Kunz earned a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Quinnipiac University in 2003, an M.A. in Health Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 2005, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2011. Her major area of study was Social Psychology and she also earned a minor in statistics. Dr. Kunz's program of research examines self- and other-perceptions, gender and racial biases, and women's health.
