What is the Final Assessment test?

The Final Assessment test is one of the main criteria used to determine Phase 2 selections. The test will consist of questions that will test you on your knowledge of concepts covered in Phase 1 of the Challenge Course. Only the top scorers will move on to Phase 2.

After completing the entire Challenge course, you will be invited to take a Final Assessment on the Challenge content. The Final Assessment will take place from Feb 22 - Feb 23, 2024 (48-hour window). Once the assessment is available on February 22, 2024 at 00:00 AM CET, the link to take the assessment will be sent via email only to those who completed the Challenge phase. Udacity will leave the link open to the Final Assessment for 48 hours, allowing you two full days to complete it.

Can I take the Final Assessment test more than once?

Students will only be eligible for one attempt at passing the Filtration Assessment, over the 48-hour period when the Final Assessment is live. Once you skip a question, you will be unable to go back to it in the assessment, so please be sure to answer each question carefully. The Final Assessment is your way of competing for the Nanodegree program (Phase 2).

How long do I have to take the assessment test?

The Final Assessment duration is 60 minutes from the moment you start the assessment. You’ll be able to see a countdown timer on the screen. Please note that you can’t pause the time, and once the timer reaches 0 seconds, the assessment will be automatically submitted whether you’re able to answer all the questions or not. So, make sure to start the assessment when you’re ready for that

What material will the assessment test cover?

While we can't tell you exactly what will be on the assessment test, we can say that it will cover the concepts presented during Phase 1 of your respective challenge course and it will test your knowledge in the track. So, please be sure to complete 100% of the Challenge Course!

Where will the assessment test take place?

The assessment test is completely online. You will receive a link to take the Final Assessment via email once the assessment is available. Please be sure you are in a quiet place with stable internet connection for the entire duration of the assessment.
