The Personal Hygiene Program is a great way to save money when you're facing challenges with access to adequate food, stable housing, or general resources. The Basic Needs Hub offers free hygiene products -- ranging from menstrual products, shampoo, conditioner to socks, diapers, and baby food. 

To get these products, students will have to fill out the Hygiene Product Google Form located on the basic needs website. Filling out the form will allow students to pick out which products they'd like as well as select an appointment times to pick up their items. Students will not be able to obtain these products from walk-ins. In the case that a student walks in without filling out the form to ask for personal hygiene products, ask them if it an emergency -- otherwise they'll have to fill out the form on the website. Otherwise, they will be asked to fill out a paper form in person and meet with a pro-staff to go over their case before being given the hygiene products that they request. 

Some stores/brands and entertainment spots may offer student discounts, so it's super helpful for students to carry around the student ID's even outside of campus for potential discounts. Click here to check out a list of discounts available with your UCSD student ID card!
