The Grocery Shuttle is a collaboration between Basic Needs, Associated Students (A.S.), and Transportation Services. This service aims to enhance food security and accessibility to culturally reflective grocery stores in the San Diego area.
The Grocery Shuttle offers students a convenient way to reach local grocery stores and shopping centers, providing access to diverse and nourishing foods.
Eligibility: This program is free and available to all UC San Diego undergraduate and graduate students.
Main Pickup Location: Gilman Transit Center (at the corner of Library Walk and Gilman Dr.)
Operating Schedule:
During Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters: The shuttle operates on weekends, with departures every 30 minutes from 10AM to 6 PM, excluding university holidays.
During Summer: The shuttle runs with 60-minute intervals.
