Event Planning Guidelines

Register your project-related event with the Synthesis Program at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Complete the Synthesis Program Event Intake Form with all relevant details. If your event requires the use of Seventh College spaces or equipment, Synthesis staff will follow-up with you.

Prepare and print copies of the SYN-100 Event Liability Form and SYN-100 Event Attendee List for the day of the event by making a copy of each Google Doc. Update the highlighted fields with your team's event details (event name, date).

If serving food/beverages, submit the On-Campus Temporary Food Facility Permit at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Email a copy of the form submission response to synthesis@ucsd.edu.

If interested in digitally advertising for your event, complete the Synthesis Digital Advertising Request Form linked under the Social Media Requests page.

Email/Submit scanned copies of your SYN100 Event Liability Form.

Email/Submit scanned copies of your SYN100 Event Attendee List.

FOR MICROGRANT RECIPIENTS: If your group purchased approved food/beverages using out-of-pocket funds for Microgrant reimbursement, email/submit scanned copies of your itemized receipts to synthesis@ucsd.edu for processing. 

Complete the Digital Advertising Request Form if you would like to share photos or videos of your SYN100 event.
