Recreation business hours are 7 days per week and vary according to class and session schedules, and facility hours.
FitLife Instructors, Trainers, and Therapists can work up to 19 hours per week.
Record your time accurately. Enter your time in and time out for each class or session and round up your entry to the nearest ¼ hour.
For example: if you work for 55min, enter your time in/out for a whole hour. If you work for 30min or 45min, please record .5 or .75 hours respectively.
Set reminders to submit your timesheet by the payroll deadlines. All timesheets that are submitted late, will not be processed until the following pay period.

Timesheets are completed using SF Time online at https://sftime.ucsd.edu.
Log in using your Active Directory credentials.
In the notes section please record the class or client in the following format(s):

Bi-Weekly timesheets are due Saturday at the end of the period by 11am.

MONTHLY Timesheets are completed and sent to your supervisor by email using this format.
Please copy and paste the entire template into the body of your email.
Monthly timesheets are due the 16th of every month by 9am. If the 16th falls on the weekend, they are due the following business day by 9am. The timesheet must be sent in the body of the email, not as an attachment.
If you miss the deadline you can submit a timesheet via email to tcaddell@ucsd.edu using this format and cc your program manager(s)
Please copy and paste the entire template into the body of your email
This is considered a late submission and will be processed with the next pay period
Note: Repeated late submissions will result in a verbal or written warning

Use the dropdown on the top left to choose the pay period you would like to submit hours for and click 'go'
Click 'Create Adjustments'
Complete your hours correctly
Click the floppy disk button to save your entries
Click the floppy disk with paper button to complete your entries. This is an important step as timesheets will not be approved if they are not completed.
