What are the flaws of the current bike rack infrastructure at UCSD?
What is the effect of theft of these mobility devices (i.e. bikes, scooters, skateboards) on students?

Additional data and information on our observational study of campus bike racks
Collated data from police reports on bike and scooter thefts
We would like future groups to extend the observational study for more time points in the day and observe of more bike racks (including the ones with high capacity but have newer material).
Future groups can work more closely with UCSD Transportation Services to implement changes.
In general, future group can look at other bike infrastructure like cracks or flaws in bike lanes and observe how this also impacts students' safety while riding scooters, bikes, skateboards, etc.
Previous projects have found that many UCSD students are unhappy with the current state of public transit at UCSD. Future projects can look at different aspects of public transit to tackle this problem such as shuttle infrastructure and consider expanding more shuttles to off-campus housing.
