Future Directions:
Help better develop the Ambassador Program through attending more focus group meetings with the Green Labs Program to identify the best way to develop a long-lasting and sustainable program.
Collaborate with other related departments (CCS major and JTCCER)
Increase awareness about the Greens Labs Program through marketing, social media, and increased undergraduate, graduate, and faculty participation/efforts.
Host information sessions about the Green Labs Program and the Green Labs Ambassador Program around campus.
Remaining Questions:
Are there any other incentives that would inspire more people to get more involved in the Green Labs Ambassador Program?
How can we increase awareness of the Green Labs Program?
How can we make people more aware of research emissions and inspire people to include sustainability within their research?
What other areas of the Green Labs Program can be addressed through new initiatives to reduce such a large sector of UCSD’s emissions (e.g. replacing old equipment, -80ºC fridges, fume hoods, etc)?
