Student Employee Resources

If you require accommodations to fulfill your duties as a TA/GSR/GSI (or think you might) please reach out to psyga@ucsc.edu. Accommodations for the workplace are handled separately from accommodations for your student work.

If, for any reason, you are unable to report your accommodation to graduate advising or your supervisor, you may email your request directly to Disability Management Services at jobaccommodations@ucsc.edu

Reporting Information

For full details about our department and campus reporting structure, please see the Grievance Resources page.

For TAs experiencing difficulties with a student in class, the Teaching and Learning Center on campus is a great resource. They have a number of trainings and can schedule one-on-one consultations.

For TAs working in a different department, your supervising faculty and the department advisor are typically your first resource for any issues you're experiencing. If, for any reason, you're uncomfortable speaking with the supervising faculty or the department advisor, you can raise concerns with Psychology Graduate Advising, or the campus Ombuds, who can help you navigate campus resources.
