Community Based Vocational Instruction (CBVI)

Community Based Vocational Instructional Curriculum (CBVI) is centered around core coursework alternative learning standards for ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies, in-conjunction with real-world work experience to students with disabilities. Students benefit from CBVI programs by improving self-esteem, developing problem-solving skills and becoming familiar with the expectations of the workplace. Student workers are supervised at all times by an experienced SSD teacher and staff.
