The work is centered around a driving question, which provides the focus for learning so that the group stays on track. When written properly, it identifies:
The perspective the students are taking (The role they step into as problem solvers)
Their audience

Although driving questions may be very different, they are all linked to The Three Pillars of Sustainability and require communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
How might we as students seeking sustainable lives for all, expand our school garden programs to create a larger gardening network and provide district friends and families with the knowledge and means to grow their own food?"
This is the question created in the middle of the pandemic by 10 brilliant and hard working high school students. This led them to create Growing Together, which is heading into its third year!
