Beginning in spring 2022, our Brittany Woods middle schoolers are forming the
Pollinator Squad and UCity Parsley Project, which is dedicated to:
Meeting with our School District of University City early childhood friends so they know:
What pollinators are and why they are important.
How to respond when a stinging pollinator (like our precious bees!) come around.
How to TAKE ACTION to protect pollinators, including Missouri's Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly (picured above!)
Promoting parsley planting througout our school district because it is necessary for our beautiful swallowtails.
