Interests, Background, Education, and Publications
Research InterestsDjamel Eddine Touil obtained his Ph.D. degree in Automatics from the University of Biskra, Algeria, in 2020. His research primarily focuses on signal and image processing, robot control, robot automation, and machine automation. The central aim of his research is the development of practical and innovative solutions for computer vision applications to enhance performance.
BackgroundDr. Touil has two years of professional experience in the plastic injection field. He worked as an electrical engineer for one year and subsequently served as the lead of the maintenance section for an additional year. During this time, he was responsible for various tasks related to injection mold processes. These responsibilities included mold changes, setup completion, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of injection mold equipment. Moreover, Dr. Touil contributed to establishing maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage areas, and workspaces. Alongside his professional responsibilities, Djamel Eddine actively pursued his research interests by collaborating with a research laboratory team at the University of Biskra. Simultaneously, he worked as a temporary teacher at the same university for seven years. During his teaching tenure, he delivered lectures on various subjects related to mathematics, control systems, and programming.
