Linda Pelly-Landrie

A seasoned professional with many years of experience in management and with over 30 years working for various governments, First Nation Band Schools in Saskatchewan and Alberta. She is a dedicated individual with strong leadership skills in language, curriculum development, management, policy, governance development and co-ordination, strategic planning and implementation, intergovernmental relations, strengthening inter-ministerial partnership and collaboration, and negotiating with various government sectors on behalf of First Nations. She has as proven abilities to lead in the implementation and promotion of educational initiatives.

Linda has extensive experience leading curriculum resource teams in developing aboriginal languages and culture, locally, regionally and nationally.  Committed to maintaining a high level of program knowledge and she demonstrates a flexible interpersonal style. Her personal philosophy of “working with people” reflects her collaborative approach to work and teaching.  Her professional background is enhanced by a strong grounding in First Nations culture and language.  Aboriginal Language and cultural development, revitalization, and preservation is a life-long commitment.
