Horowitz Teacher Education Postdoctoral Fellowship

Each year the Centre for Research for Teacher Education and Development (CRTED) appoints a Horowitz Teacher Education Postdoctoral Fellow. The Fellow is in residence at the Centre (CRTED) for a 12-month term from July 1 to June 30. During this time the Fellow actively participates in CRTED research projects in the area of teacher education, is a regular participant in ongoing research discussions, works closely with faculty and graduate students in proposal writing for funding, and is an active member of the CRTED community.
The qualifications for the Horowitz Teacher Education Postdoctoral Fellowship include an interest in, and commitment to, teacher education research. Fellows must also have recent experience as practitioners in education settings with research experience at the Master or Doctoral level.
The Horowitz Teacher Education Postdoctoral Fellowship is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Myer Horowitz, former Chair of the Department of Elementary Education, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and President of the University of Alberta.
