Trauma

Welcome to the trauma section of the critical care medicine orientation webpage. Both the UAH and RAH intensive care sites help treat and recover patients with major trauma. You may assist with care of the patient with major trauma during your ICU rotation. On this page you will find a collection of valuable resources to help inform care of the patient with major trauma. While you will certainly have support from the trauma team and other surgical/medical services, it is important to have an understanding how to care for these patients.
