How do I complete the 12-hour Inner City Health elective?
Attend & participate in 12h of Inner City Health sessions, which can include joint Community Engagement events
For example: 6h shadowing experiences + 3h Power & Privilege session + 3x 1h lunch talks
I’d like to shadow a medical professional working in inner city health! Can you arrange that?
We currently have shadowing opportunities with the ARCH Program at RAH. Sign up for our email list to find out when the sign-up sheet will open.
We have previously arranged a shadowing opportunity at Boyle Street Community Services as an introductory delve into social/community supports. Sign up for our email list to hear about when this happens (usually once a year in the Fall term).
We are also working on setting up shadowing with the Radius clinic (for Primary Care) - stay tuned!
