Dr. Nouri is a Professor in the School of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta. He develops innovative solutions and conducts research in clean energy and petroleum rock mechanics. 

Dr. Nouri did his Ph.D. at Dalhousie University in sand production control. He has over five (5) years of industrial experience and has been the author of nearly 100 technical papers. He is a registered P.Eng. in Alberta.
