MCC Theater Youth Company (Unpaid)
WHAT: The MCC Theater Youth Company is a free, after-school program for New York City high school students interested in developing their acting and dramatic writing skills. Within a creative, challenging, and supportive environment, teenagers from five boroughs participate in weekly workshops led by professional theater artists. Students are encouraged to discover and explore their unique artistic voices as they work together to create and perform original work. Through collaboration, YC members form a supportive ensemble of young artists in an inspiring environment where they are free to experiment, make bold choices, and take risks.
WHO: Any high schooler residing in New York City ages 14-19
WHEN: One day per week @ 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM from October 2022 - May 2023

Architecture and Design College Fair (Unpaid)
WHAT: The Architecture and Design College Fair provides an opportunity for high school and college students, parents, and school counselors to interface with school representatives from architecture and design schools. Students from the tristate area are invited to attend this free college fair to learn more about applying to architecture school. Representatives from over 30 schools nationwide will be on-hand at the Center for Architecture to meet with students and answer questions.
WHO: Anyone interested in learning more about applying to architecture school

BraiNY Bunch Virtual Journal Club (Unpaid)
WHAT: The BraiNY Bunch is an open, virtual journal club co-led by two students (high school and/or early college), mentored by a graduate student, postdoc, or research staff. BraiNY Bunch will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about different areas of neuroscience through careful reading and discussion of scientific findings. If you sign up to attend, all attendees will receive the paper a week prior to the presentation.
WHO: Any high schooler that resides in New York City
WHEN: Once a month on Sunday's @ 12 PM - 1 PM

KEONI Movement Arts: Community Yoga (Unpaid)
WHAT: Come and create calm in your body, mind and spirit, then go out and share it with our community! Join for a 17-week series of in-person free community yoga dance classes! Two weekly classes will be offered — a regular down-on-the-yoga-mat multi-level class and an accessible yoga class modified to meet the needs of persons with special needs and disabilities. The program is open to all on a first-come, first-served basis and for everyone's safety and wellbeing, sessions are limited in size.
