WHAT: The Narrative Lab is a free filmmaking workshop open to advanced young filmmakers who have distinguished themselves artistically and want to continue to hone their skills as filmmakers in a 9-month program that will equip them with advanced skills in screenwriting, producing, editing, cinematography, and sound. During this program, you will produce short narrative films that are written, directed, produced, and edited by you! The production phase of the program begins in Spring 2023 where you will be matched with mentors, a youth producer, and a staff producer who will support you.

WHO: Any high schooler residing in New York City

WHEN: October 17, 2022 - June 14, 2023, every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:30 PM

WHAT: CreateHER is a free course for NYC-based high school students who are girls or non-binary, and who are interested in writing and producing for theatre. Through the program, students are given the technical and creative tools to take their creativity from an idea to reality. CreateHER provides high-level playwriting and producing courses as well as features guest speakers who are leaders in the industry: from producers and general managers, to groundbreaking playwrights, and casting directors. By the end of the semester, students write, produce, and present a short play of their own!

WHO: Any student that identifies as a girl or non-binary

WHEN: Sundays from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, beginning October 16
