Solid Modeling

The Solid Modeling class at Northwestern taught me about SolidWorks and prompted me to learn different techniques available in the program that allow me to develop the most diverse range of 3D models. In the top image, the class final project is a version of Wall-E, where the different pieces - such as the camera eyes, the wheels, the body, and the neck - were assembled together in the end. The bottom shows two parts of a bucket - the shovel and the handle - developed using two different techniques: carving for the first model and rotating for the second one.
