My name is Felipe, and I am a junior at Northwestern University. I am pursuing a unique combination of majors and minors, focusing on Manufacturing and Design Engineering (MaDE), a minor in Art Theory and Practice, and the design and media innovation Bay Area Immersion Program. This blend of technical and creative disciplines has equipped me with a unique perspective on design, allowing me to approach it from both form and function.

My passions are also presented as the co-director of Mayfest Productions' Promotion Committee, the organization behind the nation’s largest student-run music festival (12,000 attendees), and as a Block Museum Student Associate. Last summer, I interned at the Segal Design Institute, leading four engineering interns in building a safe automated swing that works with an e-bike motor and a scotch-yoke system to facilitate the use of motion in infant medical treatments.
