Meeting with Aunty
We conducted our first user oriented interview with both our DTC-2 course professor, Lawrence Marturano, and his elderly relative, “Aunty”, on April 13th 2022 from 7pm to 7:30pm over Zoom video conference. Lawrence Marturano is a Senior Director of Product Management at Honeywell. His wife is Aunty’s primary caregiver and every so often, he and his wife visit Aunty. We had the opportunity to interview Aunty during one of these visits. The purpose of this interview was to gain further insight on our user demographic characteristics and their relationship with exercising in a routinely manner. Alongside, we gathered information concerning the intrinsic motivation factors that moved our user to exercise, the aspects that makes her exercising time enjoyable and device requirements that appealed to her. The attendees present from our section were Diego Alamillos and Matthew Saperstein. This appendix summarizes the key takeaways derived from our meeting and analyses the collection of responses.
