Here, I give key information for you to know when you are considering accessing a source.
Make sure to look for bold words, which mark key concepts or important points.
There are at least three 'starter links' listed under each resource. Starter links are included to 'scaffold' exploration of a website.
Because websites can be cumbersome, each starter link lets you explore key points of the online resource without getting lost in the website - they give you a place to start.
There will always be a link to the home page of the resource at the far left, and you can visit each linked page by clicking on the BOLDED title under each picture, or the picture itself.
This section of the web page serves as another place to get you started using the online resource in your classroom. These suggestions start the creative process for an activity that can be used in the classroom, so that you don't have to spend as much time trying to create something.
But don't stop here! You are encouraged to come up with other ideas for how to use the resources on each site. Enjoy exploring, learning, and creating learning opportunities!
Here there are some sample screenshots of each online resource. This will give you a preview of the layout of the online resource, can show you other possible resources, and help you recognize a specific resource that you are looking for when you access the site on your own. There is a description of each photo listed as the last sentence in the paragraph.
