Hello! I’m a teacher living in San Diego, California, and a mother to a teenage boy. As a lifelong learner, education has always been a passion for me. My interest in learning about educational technology has led me to pursue my Master’s Degree in Ed Tech and a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching.

I have two teaching credentials- a multiple-subject credential and a single-subject credential in Social Sciences and I have been teaching at The Learning Choice Academy, a small charter school, for eight years. I enjoy teaching 7th-grade Language Arts and Social Studies, and I also work with English language learners. My school follows a hybrid learning model, and I have valuable experience in creating both asynchronous and synchronous lessons for my students.

I became interested in the field of Educational Technology as learning online became more prevalent in schools. The courses that I have completed in the MET program have been an amazing learning experience for me. I am excited to apply what I have learned to my teaching career and use my skills to support new teachers in their classrooms.
