Hello! My name is Dominique Boyer. 

I grew up in Riverside County in Southern California. I moved to San Luis Obispo, California, to pursue my undergraduate degree in Child Development, minoring in Mathematics and Psychology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. 

My career path has diverged and switched gears many times during my undergraduate. Still, I always loved my undergraduate job as a teacher's assistant at the children's center at Cal Poly SLO. So, I became a Preschool Teacher after graduating and have stayed in the area ever since. 

I have always had a tricky relationship with technology. I like to joke that I broke the DMV because they had a major technical system error when I got my license. Since then, I've tried to learn as much as possible to understand it better. It sparked a curiosity in technology that led me to complete a Web Development Bootcamp through Cal Poly SLO.
