Students have access to tutoring 24/7 via Pear Deck Tutoring and Varsity Tutoring.
The schedule and standards provided are simply suggestions to help ensure students focus on their core subject areas throughout the week.
Add and subtract within 10
Operations and Algebraic Thinking
Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction within 20.
Understand the relationship between addition and subtraction and apply properties of operations.
Work with addition and subtraction equations to determine unknowns.
L.RF.1.3. Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
Focus: Know the spelling-sound correspondences for common consonant digraphs (two letters that represent one sound).
Number and Operations in Base Ten
Count, read, and write numbers to 120, starting from any number.
Understand place value, recognizing tens and ones in two-digit numbers.
L.RF.1.2. Demonstrate mastery of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes) by using knowledge that every syllable must have a vowel sound to determine the number of syllables in a printed word.
Focus: Distinguish long from short vowel sounds in spoken single-syllable words.
