Ditto is a new wireless projection system installed in some TUSD classrooms. It allows teachers, substitutes, and staff to connect a device to the TV or projector to easily share content in class.  Ditto is currently being used in classrooms and school sites that opted to pilot it.  Ditto functions in the same way that Intel Unite does.  Starting the 2023-2024 school year, Ditto will replace Intel Unite in all TUSD locations.

⚠️ ATTENTION: Do NOT launch Ditto at home.
⚠️ Ditto does NOT work on the Guest Wifi network on campus.

Setup & Installation 🔧

Depending on which device you are using, Ditto setup and installation looks different (or may not be required). See the tips below for how to access the Ditto software on your device.

Surface Pros

The Ditto software is automatically installed onto all TUSD teacher Surface Pros. Teachers should see the Ditto icon on their Surface Pro desktop. If you are a first-time user, it might take a few minutes to appear on your desktop.  If you don't see the Ditto software on your device, follow these directions on How to Download the Ditto Software from the Company Portal.  You will also find instructions for how to connect and project with Ditto on your Surface Pro using the buttons at the top of this page.

Chromebooks

If you are connecting to Ditto with a Chromebook, you do not need to setup or install the software. The Ditto app is pushed out to all Chromebooks automatically. So long as teachers, staff, and substitutes log into a Chromebook using their TUSD email and password, they will have the options to connect. Find directions  on how to connect at the top of this page.

Personal Devices

If you are connecting to Ditto with a personal device, you can connect using the Ditto web client (website). Please see the directions for connecting to Ditto via web client at the top of this page. Make sure you are on the TUSD-Office Wi-Fi Network. This capability is being offered as a courtesy.
