Parent Chromebook Camp

You are about to begin the TCS Chromebook Camp for Parents.

This Camp has 4 simple goals:

1. To provide you with the information you need about the 1:1 program.
2. To help you support your child's learning in a 1:1 environment.
3. To make you aware of how you can reach the Instructional Technology Team in the future.
4. To have you sign the One-to-One Agreement and the Responsible Use Policy.

Here is how the Camp works:

The online course includes a combination of documents you must read and videos you must watch organized into modules.

When you are directed to read something, take the time to read everything carefully. This will help you to understand your rights and responsibilities.

To complete the camp you must work through the eight modules of the online course in order.

Simply click the Menu icon (upper left) to access all of the modules.

If you click out of the online course and need to get back into it, click the Menu icon (upper left) and open the module to start again.

When you finish, please notify your child's tech coach to verify that you have fulfilled all requirements.

Your child will complete a similar camp in school. Note that some of the content for you is the same content we use with students. This gives you a better idea of what we share with them.
